“Healthy Living” guarantee mark will be used only on products tested by CIPH pursuant to the European Regulation on the provision of food information to consumers. This regulation specifies maximum daily doses of sugar, carbohydrates, saturated fat, proteins, fats, salt and energy intake of 2,000 calories/day for healthy adults of both sexes. Tested products will be certified by Healthy Living guarantee mark for a period of three years, whereas quality analysis depends on the type of product. Healthy Living guarantee mark is one of the five components  of Healthy Living National Programme, acquired on the basis of the Regulation on the provision of food information to consumers 1169/2011 and criteria for each individual group of products,  with the aim to educate citizens on positive impact of healthy lifestyle.

Criteria for “Healthy Living” Guarantee Mark

✓ Health safety
✓ Detailed description of ingredients on the declaration
✓ Laboratory analysis

✓ Recommended nutrient energy ratio*
✓ Change in contents if necessary to ensure the recommended nutrient energy ratio*
✓ No sweeteners
✓ Distinct scent, taste, colour and texture
✓ Fresh bulk fruits and vegetables, and tap water can carry the Healthy Living guarantee mark
